Which Singaporean tourist treasures should Google Street View Trike visit? Vote now.

One month ago, Google and the Singapore Tourism Board embarked on a quest to map out a path of the Google Street View trike together with the Singaporean public. Over a thousand suggestions later, Google received an extensive list, ranging from the spooky to the adventurous. After thoroughly reviewing all the options, 24 locations have been shortlisted according to four categories: The City & Quays, Cultural Areas, Natural Wonders, and Hidden Gems.

You have until November 19 2009 to cast your vote and decide the top location in each of the four categories the Google Trike will visit.
The Google trike is a mechanical masterpiece comprising three bicycle wheels, a mounted Street View camera and a specially decorated box containing image-collecting gadgetry. It comes complete with a very athletic cyclist in customised Google apparel.
Images collected by the trike will be processed and carefully stitched together, a technological process that can take several months. They will be made available at a later date in Street View on Google Maps. Watch our video of the Google trike by clicking the play button above.
