Ben & Jerry's Chunk Fest is back! Come join us!

Are you ready once again for a hippie good time at the greatest ice cream festival in Asia?

Yes, Ben & Jerry’s is once again swirling together hippy-trippy ice cream, local moosic, lots of fun and games to concoct the best Ben & Jerry’s experience for all - Chunk Fest! And this time, Klik.TV will be there to cover the event as the Chunk Fest Official Online Broadcast Partner! The i-cone-nic festival by Vermont’s finest ice cream maker will be happening this Saturday, 12 September 2009, at Marina Barrage from 2.00pm to 10.00pm.

As a special treat, the folks from Ben & Jerry's have brought in 12 yum-tastic flavors that you Chunk Spelunkers would otherwise have to cross the seas for. Top of the list is Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road, a scrumptious creation of chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cookie dough, brickle candy pieces, & white chocolatey chunks. Produced in limited batch in honor of Sir Elton John, part of the proceeds will go toward the Elton John’s AIDS foundation. Then experience the ultimate caramel experience with Triple Caramel Chunk and burst with citrusy-sweet goodness with mouthfuls of Orange & Cream. And don’t forget to be berry berry excited for some guilt free Berry Berry Extraordinary!

This year's Chunk Fest will also see the return of the Vermonster Challenge. Team Monster Truckers might have dominated the ice cream eating contest last year but witness teams challenge their reign on this day! Teams will battle it out by trying their mightiest to devour the 20 scoops of scrumpalicious ice cream, moo-delicious brownies, cookies and bananas topped with whipped cream and toppings in their fastest possible timings.

Besides ice-cream, Chunk Fest is is the place to meet the next "it" local band that will take your ears for a rocking good time. 5 bands from the many groups who have submitted their original creations about Peace, Love & Ice Cream online will rock out just for you at Chunk Fest. Those who are the ice-cream of the crop will get 500 dollars worth of Ben & Jerry ice cream and merchandise, and a recording deal with music producers “Jack & Rai”. Other acts at Chunk Tunes will also include the fantabulous Jack & Rai and Elusion feat. Melissa.

There will also be lots of games at Chunk Fest. Get together with your friends in a giant twisty mess in Giant Twister as you struggle to put your hand or foot on the different colored circle as instructed by the all mighty spinner. Show off your supreme knowledge of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream in Guess What?. Anyone who can name 5 flavors correctly wins a goodie bag! Participants will be blindfolded but we are sure it will be a walk in the barrage for you die hard fanatics out there. In Spot the Difference, participants have to, well, spot the differences between two giant posters. The fastest team wins vouchers that are literally good enough to eat. And not forgetting Klik.TV's very own Klik Your Face competition. Give us your best "I Dig Ben & Jerry's" pose with your ice cream, of course and stand a chance to win cool Ben & Jerry's vouchers.
